Phistus is the leader of the Grip of the Dragon crew and the Down City Council of Twelve. He is also the all-time Dragon City jousting champion. He rides the green Bull-class dragon Brutaris and wields a giant war-hammer instead of a blocking staff.
Phistus debuted in Episode 4: Opposing Force.
Physical Appearance[]
Phistus is 18 years-old, right-handed, 6'2" tall and weighs 260 Lbs.[1] Phistus has a muscular build and brown eyes. He is bald and clean-shaven with blue tattoos on either side of his face and right hand. He wears a green jumpsuit with his crew's logo and golden armour on his left hand.
Character []
His secondary draconium influences are Red, Brown and Purple. He is skilled at Dragon Joust and Drag-Ball.[1]
Both him and his Bull-class dragon, Brutaris, are very strong -- they make up for what they lack in speed with brute force. In Episode 4: Opposing Force and Episode 8: Three Times a Hero, he advocates for peace in the Dragon City and honourable means to fulfil dreams. He and his crew exercise tight control on the Council to prevent crime and war. Although he can be cocky and condescending to rookies, such as in Episode 13: The Chromatic Dragon.
Relationships[]
Moordryd Paynn[]
Moordryd has tried to wrest control of the Down City Council from Phistus at the behest of his father, Word Paynn. Phistus is generally apprehensive of Moordryd and his dishonourable methods.
Dragon Booster[]
Phistus is supportive of the Dragon Booster and looks up to him. In Episode 4: Opposing Force, he remarks that the Dragon Booster truly has the strength of a hero. In Episode 8: Three Times a Hero, he secretly teams up with him to contain Paynns' influence on the Council and steer the crews away from crime.
Penn Racing Crew[]
Ironically, Phistus condescends to the Penn Racing Crew. This may be due to their smaller physical size and age in his comparison or that the rival Penn crew is new, small and inexperienced. In Episode 13: The Chromatic Dragon, he mocks them and doesn't take their warning seriously, leading to the abduction of Brutaris.
