Gold Dragon Temple is a temple dedicated to the Gold Dragon of Legend. It was looked after by Gold Draconium Dragon Priests and is now looked after by Mortis. The temple contains installations for learning defensive and manoeuvring skills that are now being used to train Artha, the Dragon Booster. It was introduced in Episode 2: The Choosing, Part 2.
Location[]
The temple is located in the Old City, miles directly below Penn Stables. An elevator connects Beau's stable to the temple. The elevator is revealed on pushing a hook on a wall in the stable which serves as a lever.
Interior[]
There are two dragon statues in the temple surrounding a star-shaped islet. The elevator opens into the mouth of one of the dragon statues, which is connected to the islet by a narrow bridge. The entrance is lined by statues of Dragon Priests on either side that light up as one walks past them. These statues can be activated to create a practice obstacle course.
History[]
The temple is used to train Gold Draconium Dragon Priests and the Dragon Booster, currently Artha Penn. Connor and Word Paynn received their tutelage in the same temple before Word was relieved of his duties on account of toying with Black Draconium.
The temples also hides ancient secrets, knowledge and artifacts. Mortis had hidden Dragon Booster's gauntlet in the temple before Beau chose the next one. The temple contains an obstacle course for learning defensive and manoeuvring skills that is now being used to train Artha, the Dragon Booster.
Trivia[]
- It appears that the islet used to have bridges joining its other arms but they have collapsed with time.
